Label position tolerance
The inspection point
Presence is not enough: on a shelf, where products stand side by side, a few millimetres of shift is visible. The shift usually comes from the setting of the labelling head and, left alone, spreads across the whole batch.
How it runs on the line
The unit looks at the point after labelling. Measurement mode reports the height of the label's lower edge and the angle of the seam against the registration mark. Products outside tolerance are removed and the measured deviation feeds back to the labelling head.
