The inspection point
Underfill is a consumer complaint and overfill is product given away on every bottle; both describe the state of the filler. In transparent packaging the liquid line can vanish under certain lighting angles, and foam leads to a false reading.
How it runs on the line
A backlight turns the liquid line into a sharp boundary; on this job the lighting method decides the result. Measurement mode reports the level against a reference and bottles outside tolerance are removed. The measured values become trend data for setting the filler.
