Code reading
Serial number matching
The inspection point
The serial number is the only link between a part and its own record; a wrong match means that in a recall you cannot tell which part went where. On a machined surface, stamped or engraved characters are low in contrast, and wear and swarf make reading harder.
How it runs on the line
The unit focuses on the surface carrying the number. The value read is compared with the record on the work order; if there is no match, or the number cannot be read, the part is removed. The value read is written into the traceability record.

We bring the unit to your line and measure your own part at your own line speed. The quote comes after that measurement.
