Assembly and missing part
Kit content and count verification
The inspection point
In a product shipped as a kit, a missing component surfaces when the customer opens the box and brings the whole shipment back. The check has to answer two questions at once: is the count right, and are the contents the right parts? Human eyes tire from repeated counting, and that is exactly where the error starts.
How it runs on the line
The unit is mounted to see the whole tray in a single frame. The model learns how a complete, correct kit looks, so an empty slot and a wrong component both come out as deviation. The result reaches the packing station and an incomplete kit is stopped before it is closed.
